ESU Courses

On the occasion of the Annual EAU Congress, the European School of Urology organises courses for continuous medical education. Every year, these courses are revised and new members of faculty take part in the programme – all to make sure that course participants receive top-quality, clinically-oriented information that can be of immediate use in their practice. This year, the ESU offers 41 specialised courses – covering a wide spectrum of topics. All of these courses are aimed at narrow target groups, allowing for a highly individualised teaching approach.

Amongst the new courses this year “Ultrasound in urology” chaired by Prof. Tillmann Loch, Flensburg (DE), “Focal treatment in prostate cancer” chaired by Prof. T.E. Bjerklund Johansen, Oslo (NO), “Prostate cancer imaging: When and how to use it”, chaired by Prof. Jochen Walz, Marseille (FR) and a course on “An Introduction to social media: Why this is important for urologists”, chaired by Mr. James Catto, Sheffield (GB). These new additions offer insights into the global trends in urology and set them into the context of ever-day urological practice.

All course materials on a CD will be available to the delegates of the 29th Annual EAU Congress free of charge and can be collected at the booth of sponsoring company MILLENIUM TAKEDA.
